Internationalisering

iPro-N Continued

iPro-N Continued is a continuation of the successful INTERREG Va project iPro-N. All iPro-N activities have delivered many substantive projects and the cross-border business network has also been intensified. As a result, six projects are now being carried out within the iPro-N Continued project. Each project concerns a Dutch-German cooperation aimed at the prototype development of intelligent products and processes. iPro-N Continued contributes to a stronger economic interconnection in the German-Dutch border area and to the participation of SME's from the production sector in "Smart Industry".

iPro-N Continued

iPro-N Continued offers concrete measures for 6 prototype developments of innovative, technologically advanced and intelligent products and processes by German and Dutch SMEs in the project area. Through cross-border technology transfer and cooperation, the innovation potential of German and Dutch SMEs in the project area is to be optimally exploited and supported, in line with the further development of the Smart Industrie/Industrie 4.0 programmes.

The cross-border networking of SMEs and knowledge institutions has a positive effect on the quality of innovations in business. Where companies normally look inward, they are now tempted to look across the border. This way, entrepreneurs gain insight into the knowledge and skills available in the neighbouring country and the potential market turnover is mapped out. Moreover, this form of cross-border cooperation is a first step towards further internationalisation.

iPro-N Continued is supported by the European Union within the INTERREG V A-programme Deutschland-Nederland from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The project is co-funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Change, Niedersächsischen Ministerium für Bundes- und Europaangelegenheiten, Regionale Entwicklung en Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Energie, Industrie, Mittelstand und Handwerk NRW, and the provinces of Drenthe, Friesland, Gelderland, Groningen and Overijssel. The project management of iPro-N Continued is in the hands of the lead partner Oost NL and TAFH Münster. Emsland GmbH, TCNN, Münsterland e.V. and Novel-T are committed to the project as associate partners.
