Mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) can be used as a tool for imaging where specific molecules are located on surfaces.
Successful applications range from the analysis of the distribution of pesticides on slices of fruits and vegetables, to the distribution analysis of finish materials on high-performance synthetic fibers or illegal drugs on hair. Mass spectrometry imaging under ambient conditions is a very recent development and has already a wide range of applications, especially in qualitative surface analysis.
Interested what the ambient MSI can do for you? You are very welcome to attend this free seminar. Coffee and tea will be served and please bring your own lunch. Please register beforehand.

Wrap up and discussion |
During the seminar organized by Wageningen University & Research’s Shared Research Facilities, Laboratory of Organic Chemistry, RIKILT and Laboratory of Plant Physiology the opportunities ambient MSI can offer your research will be explored by Michel Nielen and colleagues on the basis of research examples. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions.
