The urgency of climate action has never been greater. Governments are pressed to accelerate work on their climate roadmaps to ensure a successful transition into net-zero economies by 2050, with Hydrogen playing a key role decarbonising hard-to-abate industries and enabling the storage, transport and trade of green energy.
In the region East-Netherlands we work on Hydrogen Solutions by collaborating with companies, universities, and government.
The Eastern Netherlands is developing as the living lab for integrated energy systems for decentralised generation, storage, conversion and use of sustainable energy. This is due to the strong high-tech manufacturing industry, engineering firms and knowledge institutions in the region, which are often leaders at home and abroad in the field of energy storage technology, hydrogen technology and/or system integration.
