ZOLL Medical, a subsidiary of Japan's Asahi Kasei, develops and markets medical equipment and software solutions for emergency care. With products for defibrillation and heart monitoring, improving circulation and feedback on resuscitation, the company makes an important contribution to saving lives and increasing efficiency in health care. The company moves within Elst (The Netherlands) to a new, more spacious, location. Oost NL supported the company in its expansion.
ZOLL's products can be found in emergency rooms, ambulances and firefighters trucks and in public spaces in the form of AEDs. "Our mission is to improve the chances of resuscitation success by providing clinicians and first responders worldwide with high-quality resuscitation products," says Casper Spithoven, who is jointly responsible for the location in Elst. "With our products, professional caregivers, emergency responders and inexperienced users can save thousands of lives every year."
Establishment in Elst
ZOLL was looking for additional office space to continue their growth in Europe. The Dutch branch focuses mainly on sales, marketing and technical support. "We chose Elst because of good accessibility for office staff via public transport and the freeway. In combination with the proximity of larger cities such as Arnhem and Nijmegen, but without the corresponding rental prices. Elst is a nice and fast growing location for a company like ZOLL," Spithoven explains the company's choice.
To find a suitable location ZOLL enlisted the help of Oost NL.
