‘World Class’ Open Innovation Center for Applied Plastics Technology
Expansion and improvement of knowledge. Extending research. Enlarging business activities. Knowledge institutes and companies stimulate each other in collaborating in looking beyond traditional technological borders. This is especially a challenge with plastics and coatings. This is where the Polymer Science Park in Zwolle is focused.
Living application lab
The Polymer Science Park is a dynamic workplace for companies and students. A living application lab in which they can expand and experiment their practical knowledge in the area of industrial applied research. With the focus on innovations and new materials in such as engineering plastics, rubber, resins, coating composites and related materials. Innovation topics circulate in an open knowledge-sharing environment, which leads to expanded networks and innovation.
The Polymer Science Park is the result of a cooperation between DSM, Wavin, Windesheim University for Applied Sciences, Deltion College, the city of Zwolle and the province of Overijssel. Oost NL stood in as project leader.
