Mead Johnson Nutrition is the world leader in the infant formula market and sells its products in more than 110 countries. One of its locations is in Nijmegen, where some 300 employees produce both market-ready as well as semi-finished products for markets in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
The product range coming from the Nijmegen factory destined for the European market are mostly designed for infants with various food allergies. In order to meet increasing demand from the Asian market, Mead Johnson will be expanding production in Nijmegen in the coming years. This will mean an additional 100 extra jobs for the region.
Expansion
Oost NL, together with the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency and the city of Nijmegen has assisted Mead Johnson with its plans for expansion by providing vital information.
