The IT service provider Unicorn Systems, headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic, will be opening its first location in the Netherlands on September 10th. The City of Arnhem alderman Hans Giesing will be joined by the Czech ambassador to the Netherlands, H.E. Mr. Jaroslav Horák, for the opening ceremony. It is expected that this location will grow in the coming years to a total of 30 employees, primarily in marketing & sales as well as IT developers to support the new customers.
Unicorn Systems provides large-scale IT systems and solutions to large companies in a variety of sectors. In the Netherlands, one of their large customers is the energy company Tennet, located in Arnhem. This reflects the market focus in the Netherlands, for the time being, on the energy and financial services sectors. Unicorn distinguishes itself from the competition by integrating the newest technological developments directly into its organization and methods of working.
Location near rail station
The internationally-oriented company has chosen a location nearby the Arnhem Central train station, which rapid access to both Amsterdam Schiphol and Düsseldorf airports. This choice of location, as well as the selection of cooperative partners, was facilitated by Oost NL.
