<a href="https://futuraingredients.com/">Futura Ingredients</a> provides agile, sustainable solutions across four key application categories: Bakery &amp; Confectionery, Dairy, Savoury, and Oils &amp; Fats. Futura Ingredients develops emulsifiers and stabilizers for the food industry. These ensure that, for example, ice cream, whipped cream, sauces and margarine retain their structure and flavor during the product's shelf life. The Wageningen site will serve as a technical hub, delivering tailored formulation support, troubleshooting, and hands-on application development for customers.

Futura Ingredients expands to Wageningen: Powering food innovation in Europe

Currently, just 0.6% of trucks are electric. Driven by climate goals and evolving legislation, the number of e-trucks is expected to rise significantly in the coming years. As a result, demand for electric charging points is growing rapidly. ChargeNet&rsquo;s solution connects infrastructure owners with carriers via a user-friendly app. Truck drivers can instantly see which private charging stations are available along their route and what price is charged for electricity.
Installing new fast chargers along highways remains slow due to grid congestion and delayed permitting processes. That&rsquo;s why using existing infrastructure offers a powerful opportunity to accelerate the shift to sustainable mobility.
<h2 class="MsoNormal">Funding further development</h2>
With this investment, ChargeNet continues to enhance its solution. &ldquo;Our first step is to develop a Minimum Viable Product for both the platform and the driver app. At the same time, we&rsquo;re launching pilot projects with partners in retail and logistics,&rdquo; explains Sebastiaan de Vries, CEO of ChargeNet. Following this phase, the company plans to expand app functionality and further professionalize its organization.
Ian de Graaff, Investment Manager Energy at Oost NL, adds: &ldquo;Grid congestion makes it difficult to scale up new charging points, while many existing ones remain underused. ChargeNet offers a twofold solution: it optimizes current infrastructure and makes the transition to electric transport more attractive for logistics companies.&rdquo;
<h2 class="MsoNormal">Based at Cleantech Park Arnhem</h2>
ChargeNet is now located at Cleantech Park Arnhem (formerly Industriepark Kleefse Waard, IPKW), strengthening the city&rsquo;s sustainable energy ecosystem&mdash;especially its network of e-mobility pioneers. &ldquo;We&rsquo;re excited about the investment and our base in Arnhem. Being close to other companies and Connectr creates opportunities to learn from each other,&rdquo; De Vries concludes. Oost NL supported ChargeNet in making a soft landing in the region.

Arnhem-based ChargeNet is developing a B2B platform that connects private charging point owners with transport companies. By enabling the shared use of private charging infrastructure, the company accelerates the transition toward a fossil-free logistics sector. With funding from Oost NL, ChargeNet will further develop its platform. The investment comes from Gelderland’s Early Phase Fund (Vroegefasefonds Gelderland).

Funding for ChargeNet: Unlocking private charging infrastructure for electric trucks

The company chose the region due to its long-standing partnership with Dutch Diagnostics, a well-established name in the diagnostics sector. The Zutphen site will serve as the European hub for development, production, and sales. The investment was supported by Oost NL and the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA).
<h2 class="MsoNormal">Advancing Diagnostics Across Europe and Africa</h2>
With its new location, T&amp;D Diagnostics is set to accelerate access to innovative In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) products across Europe and Africa. Activities at the site include the development, production, marketing, and distribution of diagnostic tests, devices, and consumables for human use. The company is also exploring opportunities in veterinary and environmental diagnostics.
Matthias Volk, CEO of T&amp;D Diagnostics, explains: &ldquo;Our strategy is clear &mdash; expand sales, production, and development through a new, central European hub. We&rsquo;ve chosen the Netherlands, and specifically Gelderland, because of the outstanding support we&rsquo;ve received from Oost NL and the NFIA. <h2 class="MsoNormal">Fast, Accessible Health Testing</h2>
A core mission of T&amp;D Diagnostics is to make health testing more accessible. One of its innovations includes a wellness test that provides insights into physical and mental health through a simple urine sample. The tests are user-friendly, painless, and affordable &mdash; supporting accessible care, cost-efficiency, and societal productivity.
<h2 class="MsoNormal">A Strategic Regional Collaboration</h2>
The new Zutphen site is being constructed next to Dutch Diagnostics, led by the second-generation Govaers family. This regional powerhouse has been a trusted partner to T&amp;D Diagnostics for many years.
Patrick Govaers, CEO of Dutch Diagnostics, adds: &ldquo;With T&amp;D Diagnostics right next door, we&rsquo;re strengthening our collaboration both locally and internationally. <h2 class="MsoNormal">Support by Oost NL and NFIA</h2>
T&amp;D Diagnostics received extensive support from Oost NL and the NFIA in setting up its Dutch operations. This included guidance on legal and tax matters, subsidies, opening a bank account, and visa arrangements for employees. 
The company also gained access to international trade missions &mdash; including to Ukraine &mdash; and was introduced to key partners in Eastern Netherlands. This trusted partnership continues beyond the opening phase.
