Who is MATMED for?

SMEs

The MATMED acceleration programme will open up new collaboration and commercialisation opportunities for your business. We understand that SMEs which are developing innovative MedTech products often need to collaborate with experts in a number of disciplines in order to speed up product development and reduce time to market, but find it hard to locate and connect with the right partners… and also access appropriate funding. This is where MATMED can help.

The Directory connects you with key innovators in the MedTech sector. It is easy to use, free to access, and enables collaborative projects between public research organisations, investors, start-ups and SMEs – to conduct validation studies, obtain funding and facilitate market access.

On top of this, the MATMED acceleration programme provides micro funding to undertake specific collaborative projects, and gives access to expert advice to help you adapt to the new EU regulation on medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics.

SMEs represent 99% of all businesses in the EU. Not sure if your advanced materials or medical device organisation is an SME? Try the European Commission’s self-assessment questionnaire here
