Innovation Attaché Network visits province of Gelderland

Today, the Innovation Attaché Network of RVO (Netherlands Enterprise Agency) visited the province of Gelderland. The delegation consisted of 80 representatives from over 15 countries from around the world. They visited three innovation hotspots and engaged in discussions with entrepreneurs and scientists about significant societal challenges.

In Wageningen, they discussed 'the future of agriculture and food,' with a focus on the protein transition, particularly in cell-based foods, robotics, and biotechnology. In Arnhem, the focus was on 'the Energy transition,' with an emphasis on hydrogen, the circular economy, and energy storage. In Nijmegen, conversations centered around 'Health & High tech', with a focus on Healthy Brain, Artificial Intelligence, and Semicon.

Susan van Boxtel, team manager international, initiated the field trip, saying, "I am incredibly proud when I see the innovation power in the East of the Netherlands. The innovative entrepreneurs and researchers have been matched with our colleagues of the Netherlands Innovation Network, who will scout for international innovation collaboration opportunities. International innovation collaboration strengthens our ecosystems!"
