This side event offers insights into the latest developments in fermentation technology and the ecosystem for (precision) fermentation in the Dutch Food Valley. It provides a chance to explore the facilities that support upscaling from research to production. During the session, attendees will step inside NIZO’s world-class facilities, home to Europe’s largest flexible food-grade pilot plant, and explore what the Biotechnology Fermentation Factory (BFF) will look like. BFF will be a key hub for scaling up microbial biomolecule and biomass production.
