Qvkdeep Foods expands European operations in East Netherlands
Qvkdeep Foods, in collaboration with Deep Foods (USA), has established a new presence in Wijchen, the Netherlands, further strengthening its European distribution footprint. The company’s entry into the Netherlands was supported by the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA) in India, in close cooperation with Netherlands Distributieland, with Oost NL providing regional support.
Qvkdeep Foods is a well-established importer and distributor of Indian food products across Europe, offering a portfolio of more than 1,000 different product variants to supermarkets, wholesalers, and foodservice companies. The family-owned group has been active in India for over 50 years and supports employment for more than 2,000 people across its Indian operations. Beyond Europe, the group supplies markets including the United Kingdom and Africa. Sharda Group, the parent company of Qvkdeep Foods, has maintained a long-standing commercial presence in Poland for over two decades.
Strategic European distribution location
The choice of Wijchen aligns with Qvkdeep Foods’ long-term European growth strategy. From this location, the company works closely with logistics service provider DFDS, utilising its warehousing and distribution facilities in Wijchen. The Dutch operation launches with a team of four employees and contributes to strengthening the region’s international trade and logistics ecosystem.
The location offers strong connectivity to key European consumer markets, ports, and inland logistics corridors, making it an efficient base for serving customers across the EU.

Collaboration during the establishment phase
During the establishment phase, NFIA and Netherlands Distributieland supported Qvkdeep Foods with market orientation and positioning in the Netherlands. Subsequently, Oost NL facilitated the regional setup by assisting with practical matters, connecting the company to a temporary housing solution in Nijmegen, and linking the Qvkdeep Foods team with the local Indian business community.
